「Fire in the hotel kitchen, building full of smoke so had to be evacuated at 0300 until 0730 2 fire engine on scene. Have to question whether fire safety was all it could be and given the layout of the rooms up narrow staircases it’s not a building we’d want to be in again during a fire. Staff were helpful, rooms clean and newly refurbished. No offer of refund or apology from hotel however.」
