「Good location」

「Our lodge was amazing there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the lodge can accommodate 6 although only 4 people can sit at the dining table inside. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived and self check in was easy. Amanda who came to check the hot tub was very friendly and helpful. Please note the lodge has underfloor heating so the wall heaters aren’t required and the hot water seems to be regulated from the thermostat in the kitchen. 「First time experience and we were extremely pleased with the welcome and subsequent service. The choice had been made on previous ratings which did not disappoint. The proprietors were very friendly and the food served was delicious and ample. It would have been wonderful to have been able to enjoy a longer stay. Would definitely recommend to others and revisit.」

"Lovely Restaurant, Disappointing Housekeeping & Reception Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The restaurant staff were very kind and polite, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere during meals. However, the reception experience and housekeeping were disappointing. When we checked in, the receptionist was initially friendly, but when I asked her some questions, her attitude became a bit intimidating and unhelpful, which made me uncomfortable. We stayed 4 nights. On one of the days, our room was not cleaned until 17:30, and we had to wait 30 minutes in the hallway. On another day, the towels were not replaced and no vacuuming was done. We informed the staff, but the manager didn’t seem to take the issue seriously. The manager didn’t seem to take the issue seriously. I expected more consistent service and better hospitality, especially from the front desk. The hotel itself is very cute and well-presented, and it could have become one of my favorite hotels — but unfortunately, it didn’t."
