The room was comfortable and generally well maintained, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the in-room amenities was disappointing. The coffee mugs were not properly cleaned, and the electric kettle had significant limescale buildup, which came out every time we tried to heat water. We requested a replacement kettle at night, and while it was slightly better, it still had similar limescale issues. For a brand like DoubleTree, we were expecting a higher standard of attention to detail. Overall the stay was okay, but better maintenance and cleaning of basic room facilities would greatly improve the guest experience.

Lots of problems with my stay. First the room was cold and altering the air conditioning didn't make a difference. Second there was a problem with hot water in the bathroom. Restaurant closed early on the night I arrive and so I had to eat in the bar. The remains of some pretzels were on the stairs well the entire time I was there, and not cleaned up. Breakfast was very good though with very attentive staff.
