"The pool seemed dirty and was terribly cold. I expected a heated pool for an indoor facility. The maintenance in the property was terrible, missing vent.covers and our door did not work properly. It was less than expected but the staff was nice and breakfast was good. Not my favorite experience but not the worse either"

"I really enjoyed the stay! Room was clean, bathrooms in the casino floor was clean. Breakfast was good and hot! A few staff members shouldn’t be in that line of business. Most staff was friendly though! "

"My wife and I took a getaway and stayed for 2 nights. Everything about our stay was fantastic! Warren and Alexis were working the front desk and bar area during our stay and made it that more enjoyable. They both were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area when we asked for recommendations for food. We would stay here without question if we are ever in the area again. The room was great with plenty of room and pool was nice and relaxing. This hotel is within walking distance for everything and really was the perfect choice for our stay! "

"The cleanliness of the property was at best a 5/10. Floors were dirty in many areas and even sticky from improper cleaning or not being cleaned. Cleaning fee in my opinion should be partially refunded. I ended up mopping all the floors myself while here...Bathrooms were not very clean, some of the linens and towels had stains. Recessed lights in kitchen don't work at all leaving the kitchen very dark. One of the bedroom doors isn't even a solid door, it is fully see through glass and has no privacy. If you plan to do cooking there is limited pans/pots. May work for probably 80% of patrons. The neighborhood isn't the best, there was actually a drive by shooting while we were there 2 blocks away. None of the bedrooms have an actual bathroom attached or part of it, so there is not master bedroom per say.- This house was definitely used as offices or something commercial at some point as all the rooms were oddly setup and no actual closets really exist. Some doors don't latch or lock properly. The only TV in the house is missing the remote. Certain burners on the stove don't operate at full capacity. A lot of outlets in rooms/house don't work. So many more issues but unfortunately not enough space to list everything. "

"We arrived around 2 am on the night we were supposed to check in because of the be weather and had to message Shaun multiple times and call multiple times to get our check in instructions and the check in code. There was very little support in providing information about the city and local attractions like you'd expect in a VRBO. And everything seemed and felt like a cheap managers special. There were holes and scratched/chipped spots throughout the house. The beds were not comfortable and the bed frame was not suitable for larger bodies. The pullout mattress had bug debris on it so we chose not to use it. It was also hard to maintain a nice temperature in the home due to the oii me insulation. So it was always too hot upstairs and too cold downstairs. The bathroom is INCREDIBLY tiny. So tiny that as a plus size man I could barely shower or use the bathroom because of how skinny and narrow it was. The bathroom also had signs wear and tear, balancing the sink on two pieces of trash. We were able to watch TV together and the kitchen as the bare necessities to make a meal. We stayed for a week and bought a crockpot and just let it stay there. Lastly, the neighborhood is not great. A lot of abandoned houses ànd people coming around late so be wary of to that. Overall the house was what we needed for the vacation on this budget. We knew what we were getting into but damn. "

"If I could. I would give it 3.5 stars. I gave this a 3.5 for a few reasons. Overall, it was decent. It’s a great location! The host was very communicative in the beginning. We were asked if we needed anything and we asked for three blankets and they kindly delivered. The house is old, circa 1910, and quaint in that regard. It’s been “remodeled” and is decent. The bathrooms are not shown in the pics for a reason. They are small (like, your knees will hit the opposite wall sitting and I’m 5’5”!) and the only shower/bath is upstairs. This house is not great for people with mobility difficulties. I gave it a 3.5 because I asked the host if we could extend our stay by 1 hour and gave the reasons. They did not bother to respond. At all. A no would’ve been better than wondering and caused us to scramble. They also did not answer a question I had before our stay. I asked about the bathroom situation- I had two 84 year old grandparents with us. I believe not answering that question was deliberate. Other cons: There was no dishwasher and there was a strange smell. They had timed air fresheners going off and it didn’t really help and was quite strong. Overall it was okay, but we would not stay there again. "
