「You had to learn the switches in the room.As far as turning off and turning on things. there should have been a map as to where everything's were. A reminder board about Activities that were happening during the day needed to be available. The lighting could have been better outside at night. It was a nice place. 「We stayed here last minute with our two year old after a different stay didn’t work out. Since we booked last minute, I was expecting the worst based on some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! The pools and the beach were lovely. The beach is one of the best I’ve been to and my toddler loved being in the water and playing in the sand. 「Merrils Resort is my home away from home! The staff is wonderful, and the room I stayed in was renovated nicely! The grounds are kept up do nicely by the gardeners Diego and Kevin. Head waiter Mr. Charlie and Ms. Barbara are the best, all of the staff was and the Chefs were wonderful!」

「The rooms were very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went in May and every time it rained the lobby’s were flooded. One day the air conditioning was off in the restaurants and it was super hot. Overall, we still enjoyed ourselves. The dolphin swimming is a must do. We mostly chilled at the ocean and beach. I would recommend this resort.」
