"The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It’s correctly called “Sunrise Sensation” because the sunrises are breathtaking! The rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the mountainside are peaceful and relaxing. We had dozens of deer pass throughout the day. Hot tub is nice. The driveway is a sharp right turn but if you navigate it slowly you’ll be just fine. There are three blue reflectors marking off the well as you turn in. The main bed is tall but there’s a stool in the closet. A few suggestions for fellow travelers to bring: beach towels for hot tub, bath soap (some are provided but not adequate), and dryer sheets. We’ve stayed at several mountain cabins over the years in the area and this was a favorite. The owners did a great job making it feel like home! "

"We had a wonderful stay. The proximity to downtown West Jefferson was perfect. The cottage was very comfortable and well stocked, especially the kitchen. We love to cook and it’s rare that we find a home that meets our needs when it comes to cooking. Beds were extremely comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this delightful home. "
