"To us this was an authentic Japanese experience, sleeping on the floor, private onsen, beautiful location and fantastic food. It's also in a perfect location in Nikko. It's our second stay an we love it."

"We loved this hotel. We were particularly impressed with the kindness of the staff. Sujawa, in particular, greeted us with warmth and made sure we were immediately comfortable after coming into the hotel on a very hot day. She also explained the local bus service and allowed us to check in earlier than anticipated, which made our day in Nikko so much easier and more enjoyable. The room was perfect and very clean, and the coffee machine in the main kitchen area was much appreciated. Would highly recommend this hotel. "
