Breakfast outside and the hotel too far of the centre

Nice hotel, close to transit. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We like the interior design and ambiance of this hotel, very unique. The reception staff team was excellent - so friendly and helpful. The Opera House view from my room was super. I personally prefer a traditional bathroom setting instead of all the pieces were separated into 3 directions.

The hotel appears to have been renovated recently, and there was still some noticeable new construction material and paint smell during the stay. The overall hotel design is beautiful, with a traditional style that gives the property a fantastic atmosphere and character. The main issue was the bathroom lighting design. The lights are controlled by a motion sensor and turn off automatically. Unfortunately, the sensor does not work very well and often turns the lights off while someone is sitting on the toilet or taking a shower, which was quite inconvenient. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, especially considering how expensive dining can be in Denmark. The hotel location is also outstanding, close to many major attractions and very convenient for sightseeing.

We spent four nights here and it was an amazing experience. This is your classic European hotel located in the heart of historic Copenhagen. It has everything you would expect from a hotel of this caliber, from an outstanding organic breakfast to a hosted happy hour. The staff is warm an welcoming from the minute you step into the lobby until you leave. They all spoke excellent English that this older traveler really appreciated. If you plan to visit historic Copenhagen this is the place to stay.
