「The property is clean and works for a quick stay, but the surrounding area is just a little rough. Evidence of prostitution and partying is only 1 street away. I think the property itself is safe enough」
「Marin Lodge is a small, clean, very quiet hotel located 3 minutes away by car from downtown San Rafael. I especially liked the in-room microwave and mini-fridge. It is definitely not fancy, but overall a great boutique alternative to the larger brands that offer rooms at around the same price. 」

「It was a very nice stay. The beds and pillows were really nice and comfortable. It's older, but it has it's charm. It's right next to the freeway and you can hear the cars, but otherwise it was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing I wish it had was bedside lamps. Otherwise our room was had two rooms, one for each bed and I really liked that. The managers were very nice and helpful as well. 」
