"As a boutique in an older building, jacked some of the amenities of newer and it was dated of course. The majority of the staff and the gm were very accommodating and first oriented. Would stay there again."

"When we arrived at the hotel we had to maneuver around all the homeless and others gathering on the street but not staying at the hotel. Associate for the hotel greeted us at the counter and I requested a room off of Canal Street - wanted a quieter location due to all the noise. Associate gave us a room and said this would suit our needs nicely (limited noise). Upon making our way to our room we passed through hallways that were in deplorable condition (not vacuumed) and a door with a towel on the floor trying to hold back water/rain entering the hallway. Upon entering the room we noticed we were right on Canal Street (we requested a quiet location) on the 2nd floor. The noise was deafening. We immediately returned to the reception counter to request another room. The only other available room was on the 4th floor (same tier). We told the receptionist this will not work and we will not be staying at this hotel. I requested a refund and requested that the manager call me. The manager never called me and the hotel said that I stayed there all three nights (we never stayed one night). We went down to the Ritz (2 blocks down the street on Canal - this was only $100 more per night. I will never stay at this hotel again"

"We arrived early with my son and girlfriend, their room was ready, but ours wasn’t and by the time our room was ready the hotel put us in a handicap room on the 14th floor on the older side of the hotel that was outdated! My sons room on the 5th floor was a beautiful modern room When we complained about it to the front desk, we were told that we were put in that room because we booked with a third party (Expedia) we were so offended, we had to argue with the manager, and had to stay in the outdated room with a tub with a plastic shower curtain, outdated tv for our first night, we were finally moved to the 7th floor and a modern room, but the damage was done! We will never stay in that hotel again! And will think twice about booking through Expedia if this is how we will be treated!"

"The staff was very friendly. The Pelican Bar was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The DJ was amazing. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Major construction going on. Hotel did not notify us until we checked in. Then we were told floors away from construction were not available. Difficult to get to pool due to construction as well."

"I stayed here for one night before a cruise and had a great stay. The hotel is really nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that bothered us was a baby crying all morning in the room next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to easily walk to the cruise port and a short distance to the French Quarter. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Bourbon Orleans is a great hotel. Centrally located in the French Quarter so everything is really walkable. The rooms are nice although the pillows are much to thick for me personally. Staff are very nice and helpful. This is our go to hotel when we stay in NOLA. I recommend."
