I slept like a baby! Sheets, 4-poster bed, the room was so comfy. Coffee, water in the living room. Very attentive when I called and even gave a superb dinner recommendation. As part of the BNB experience, brunch was excellent at the Duff Green Mansion and the tour of the Mansion is not to be missed. Great stay!!

Very nice staff. Easy check-in. Room was quaint. It was very quiet which was great. The room was clean and orderly. It is an old home, but was quite pleasant. This isn’t a criticism, but to let other travelers know, the refrigerator and microwave are in the shared living room area. They are not in the individual rooms. The location of the property was also excellent for sightseeing, and near a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Take advantage of visiting Duff house for a glass and wine. Be sure to have the complimentary breakfast the next morning there to and take the tour. It’s a short walk from Steele house. It’s delicious, and the tour is amazing. The hostess is so wonderful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Please take advantage of this little gem and book a night or two here.

I was absolutely charmed to find this beautiful little cottage close to downtown Vicksburg. It appears that the same management runs the Duff Greene mansion nearby. That is where breakfast and the welcoming glass of wine are served. Anyway, still cottage has three rooms on the street level as well as a lovely little lounge. They were very welcoming of my dog who also helped felt right at home and was on her best behavior I guess because it felt like home. It’s right on the historic walking trails in Vicksburg, which was a nice little perk as well. The only thing I would change about this spot is to upgrade the mattresses and pillows. They are very definitely in the OK range. That said, I will very likely stay here each time I make this annual trip.

The property and room/bathroom were all clean and well kept. Did not realize the breakfast was not on location and didn’t begin until 8:30 am. I had a long day ahead of me and departed at 7:30 am. Would definitely stay here again, if I was spending more time in Vicksburg.

Une belle expérience !

Belle expérience dans une belle maison antebellum sans oublier le sublime petit déjeuner dans une belle demeure de la même époque à moins de 8 minutes à pied. Une expérience à ne pas manquer !
