"We loved the location. Our charter captain picked us up from the back dock of the houseboat. We had all the linens we needed. The only thing that was hard was to fall asleep at times because the exits signs were so bright, but I figured that was safety regulation- so no biggie. Thank you. "

"This is now my favorite houseboat to stay in Venice Marina. Very clean houseboat and friendly hosts. Had a few questions during stay and was answered almost immediately. The only item that could improve my experience with this rental would be a small deep freezer to store your daily catch. The marina does store fish for a small daily fee so definitely not a deal breaker on renting this nice place. "

"It was a great experience staying on Doug’s houseboat. He was a very friendly and responsive host. The house was well stocked and very clean. You can definitely feel the movement of the houseboat so I would recommend Dramamine for anyone who tends to get motion sick. "

"Place is perfect for a dudes fishing trip at a reasonable price - perfect location for pickups for the fishing trips, comfortable bunks, functional kitchen, plenty of hot water for a good shower after long day of fishing, ice machine is a nice thing to have. No frills, but just what you need."

"The property was as promised. However, sad part was at the dishwasher did not work, water pressure was extremely low and the grill was old and pretty nasty. Otherwise , it was a great stay and very nice and enjoyable."
