「The view of the lake from the room was outstanding.It was so pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy our morning coffee. We were in Watkins Glen for Captain Bobs Dinner Cruise which was just a short ride away I would definitly recommend a stay at this hotel. Very basic but adequate.」

「Close to town but quiet and relaxing. Pool, gazebo and some rockers outside your door for enjoying. Danish type things and coffee are only options. Fine for us. Beds were great.」

「The cabins were quaint and peaceful. The fresh farm to table…made from scratch breakfast was superb! The homemade grape juice was made from their vineyard. They gave great recommendations on where to go and restaurants. A wonderful experience! 」

「Property is in a very good location. Lots of shops and dining options available. Also right next to the state park which is a must see. Rooms decor is older but everything was comfortable and was exactly how is seen in pictures. Would stay again.」

The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site.
