"The views from the deck are amazing. We even saw two beautiful moonrises over the lake. The cottage was clean and well-appointed. No problem with wi-fi and we appreciated all the charging stations. The new hot tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking around. It’s quiet, dog-friendly, and close to so many wineries and breweries. If you like barbecue, definitely make a short trip into Watkins Glen and check out Nickel’s Pit."

"Great spot! The home is close to a great breakfast place “Toni’s Diner.” They cook all their food fresh the pancakes were amazing. It is also close to a wonderful little lunch/dinner restaurant called “The Decoy.” They make all the dishes to order and portions are right. The wings, steak, and mani mahi-mahi are delicious. Watkins Glenn, many vineyards, the National Forrest park, and other fun things are under 20-30 minutes away. House is walking distance to a cute wine/liquor shop, the largest in Hector, NY. There was no grill when we stayed but there is a perfectly stocked kitchen. Seneca Lake can be seen within a short walk from the house."

"We had 13 people staying at the cottage and we were very comfortable. The house has a wonderful graciousness. The kids loved digging at the beach and swam safely with the PFDs. The water is very deep there. Everyone took advantage of the huge lawn for the cornhole game and our own bocce game. Some adults loved the huge porch while others enjoyed the kayaks and PFDs. The huge sectional with recliners in the living room was ideal for our crowd! I would suggest only two improvements. Towel racks in the bathrooms would help to keep the towels clean. Hopefully the half finished dock will be completed in the near future. The contact people were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Place was great for our stay. PoolWas great, house was clean and tidy. Very well located to numerous venues up and down the main road. Never had to drive more than 15 minutes without being swamped with food, beer, and wine options. Nice and quiet area as well."
