Kuramae Shrine is surrounded by high-rise apartments but still makes a statement, especially this time of year with the gorgeous sakura in full bloom.

The locals call these cherry blossoms "Kuramae Sakura," although I'm pretty sure they are a type of yama-zakura. I like that they are so fond of these blossoms that they named it :)
