Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International
10/10 Excellent
"This is an excellent location in Asakusa, there is a Uniqlo and restaurants locayed on floors 1-4, and the hotel lobby on floor 5, there is a Donki next door, and and so much other shopping all within a short walk from the hotel, there were street performers on the weekend and the streets were alive with activity, but nothing crazy all very family friendly. Also very close to the subway line, we will stay here again when we come back. I will say the rooms are small, but I understand most hotels are like this, I will say the hotel is clean with a buffet breakfast which includes American and Japanese breakfast staples, buffet is available for a fee, it was good and convenient. "
"Second time at this hotel. I love the Onsen in the basement and the convenience of having a conbini on site. You can access everywhere by public transport easily too. It’s a bit of a quieter area so maybe not for night life lovers. Yes the rooms are small but they are well designed and you won’t be in them much with all of Tokyo to explore. Beds are comfy and changed when the room is cleaned every three days. Coffee, towels, robes and other amenities are left in a bag daily. Staff were helpful re booking bag transfer to airport etc but don’t expect fluent English from all. Google translate can help if in doubt. "
"Very convenient hotel, right beside it is the Asakusa station and is also very close to the temple. Very walkable area. The hotel stay was great - just probably the beds weren’t soft enough. The staff are helpful and friendly. Most of all, shoutout to housekeeping, they’re very great with cleaning & organizing. Will recommend."
"We loved that it is a minute or two from Tokyo Sky tree, the train station, and a shopping mall.
We were able to rest after first arriving in Japan, shower, and still have time to explore a bit. Due it it being so close to a major attraction, we got to stay out late our first night in Japan without fear of not being able to make it back or getting lost. "
"We stayed here for 5 nights while exploring Tokyo. Things we loved: the staff were great. The onsen was a huge bonus for us (helping us to understand how to properly use one before going to other places). We also liked the laundry facilities and complementary drinks. Our room was 2 x bunk beds, so a little tight for 4 but everyone was happy. The negatives - just breakfast. This was provided in the cafe below but was very 'japanese/ western'. We had better breakfast experiences elsewhere. That said, it really wasn't bad! Hense 5*! "
