"Loved this traditional stay in Kyoto, the breakfast was great and the tub in the bathroom was so relaxing after a long day of walking. The only thing is if you don’t have a car rental it can be tricky planning your day based on the bus routes. The bus stop is only a minute walk away but if you miss a bus you may have to wait a while for the next one. Overall loved staying here!"

We booked a private onsen bath and the waters were very soothing. The room itself was beautiful, and very comfortable to sleep in. The banquet breakfast was delicious and so lovingly prepare prepared. But most importantly, the staff were so courteous at every moment and did everything they could to make our stay a great experience. "Very clean and well located. Just around the corner from train station with good eateries nearby and many sites within walking distance or a train/bus ride away. Rooms are generously sized for Japan standards (didn't feel like a closet). We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. "
