「Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. 」

We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. 」

From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.」
