「Stepping into the Kalamazoo House felt like being transported back in time. The breakfast, prepared by a culinary chef, was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A truly wonderful stay!」

「Very nice breakfast, something for everyone. Staff worked hard to keep the food plentiful.」

「Beautiful place!!!」

「outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. 」

「The staff were extremely helpful, the food delicious, and the grounds and amenities were first-rate. Like many Victorian-era buildings, this one shows a little wear on the exterior. Other than that, a delightful stay.」

「A party started above our room at about 9:30. A really loud party. We called the front desk - they said they would talk to the guests. 10 minutes of peace followed by a louder party. We called the front desk at 11. Basically told they could only call the guests again, but had been hung up on the first time. 10 more minutes of peace followed by what sounded like a full circus. 「Staff was invested and remarkable. The hotel is new and the furnishings and layout were very nice. Lot was well lit, area felt quite safe and the location for us couldn’t have been better. Particularly enjoyed the energy electrical savings and also wall mounted thermostat which worked just fine. The sound insulation was a bit under par in my estimation. Footsteps above, I did not expect, traffic outside and adjacent room sounds seemed to me a bit above average.」

「I was there for a concert. It was very helpful they offered a shuttle to and from the Casino, the driver was great. All the staff were helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again.」

「Exceptionally clean, with incredibly comfortable mattress and pillows in an older style one story roadside motel which made it easy to get luggage in and out. Great location and an outstanding local restaurant right across the parking lot on Gull Lake. Very moderately priced which made it even better.」
