"We loved everything about our stay. The house was beautiful and stocked with all you would need. The kids spent lots of time in the pool and a quiet beach was only 2 miles down the road. In the area, we kayaked, paddle boarded, bowled and found a couple of great restaurants. But the cherry on top was the sunset. Every evening we gathered in the great room and watched the sun go down. The kids said it was the best Michigan vacation we've every had. "
"We enjoyed our stay at the 1888 house while visiting for the weekend. The beds were comfortable though I did wish some of the seating options were more aware of comfort rather than just looks, but we made it work with the couch! We would totally stay here again because it was by far the most affordable and cute little spot in the area. The host was super responsive and communicated quickly when needed. "

"We loved the home and property. Great host/communication and clean throughout. Spacious, light-filled kitchen with anything you might need for cooking and serving large meals. The large dining/living area was a great for conversations. Bedrooms were quiet and dark at night. Comfortable beds. Wonderful sunsets over the lake on Adirondack chairs at edge of tall bluff next to stairs to beach. As other reviewers stated, the photos don't do justice to how spacious and great for a large group this place is. "
