"We stayed at the Castle hotel which was hands down a great choice. We went to the legoland hotel for dinner and it was definitely chaotic and loud."

"We enjoyed our stay, however, there are a couple of things that were disappointing. First, the staff were very friendly at the pool and at the restaurant, Bar Meets Grill. The steakhouse and Italian restaurants are closed Mondays, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. We were there for 2 nights on a Tuesday and Wednesday celebrating our Anniversary and were looking forward to a more intimate dinner. It is apparent that if you aren’t a VIP guest, you don’t have access to renting a poolside cabana. They are very nice, but unfortunately we couldn’t get one. We tried for a late checkout and were told that it is $35/hr. The business model seems to cater to their VIP customers but the staff caters to all guests. We have stayed at many local San Diego casino’s and will probably book with them next."

"We love this resort for the last 15 years. Everything is so beautiful there and the spa is a once in a lifetime experience. On our last stay we were disappointed to always be redirected to different departments for help. We eventually insisted that staff pick up their phones and request help instead of outsourcing us and making us walk everywhere for simple requests."

"My husband and I slept in a comfortable king sized bed, however my adult daughter slept in an uncomfortable sofa bed. Since we were near the railroad tracks we would be awaken in the middle of the night with loud horn blasts. We used the pool and jacuzzi, and had free breakfasts. The hotel is near the beach, tasty restaurants, like the Tangerine Grove. We visited the Full Moon Spa, a wonderful retreat."

"Staff are very helpful and rooms are clean. Many shopping plazas near by, Mexican restaurant right next door and a McDonald’s across the street. Down side; pool was somewhat dirty and saw it get filtered on the third day as we were checking out. The “breakfast” consisted of coffee and pastries, oh yeah and a waffle maker. Typically when hotels say “breakfast included” it includes of cereal, juice, yogurt and beige"
