Church of the Light in Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan.

This is a church built by famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando. He is the same architect who built the Tokyo Sky Tree. This is a beautiful modern church that uses concrete, light, and simplicity in the best way. accessible by bus only. Take the bus from Osaka station. and the church is a short walk from the bus stop. If you go on a saturday there will be other architecture enthusiasts going to visit the church. Follow them. If you are alone make sure you have a map before you leave because it is outside the city center and people around the area wont speak much English.

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka

"We had the best 3-night stay in a Miyabi club room. The hotel amenities and staff were excellent and the lounge breakfast, tea and cocktail service is the best we experienced in Japan (we booked club rooms in Kyoto and Tokyo too). The only problem we faced is that we were always so well fed from the hotel it was difficult to try all the local food outside. Will definitely book this hotel again. "

"I stayed for 7 Nights in a Single Bed smoking Room. Check in was very quick and friendly assisted by English speaking staff. The room was small (Japanese business Hotel) but clean and comfy (bed a little hard). Breakfast was a little on the light side. Limited western options. Very crowded between 8 and 9 am. The best part is the location. Close to Dotonbori and also all train lines straight at the hotel. I can highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come back! "
