「Small but clean room and en suite shower room. Was a little noisy from the main road with the window open but fine at night when closed. The charging sockets were useful and the host was really helpful, letting me borrow a hairdryer. Parking was easy around the back of the property and access was convenient through the side entrance. Perfect for my needs this weekend and good value.」
「Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.」
「Lovely friendly place to stay ,staff were amazing and couldnt be more helpful.Only downfall was they did not do food ,we had a busy schedule and had to go out very early for breakfast ,no private parking but could park on street at side of property also no lifts so no good to people who are disabled」
「Such a lovely hotel and a great place for a relaxing stay. Our room was surprisingly large for three of us and was lovely and clean and had everything we could need. Really thoughtful and unusual decor really added to the whole hotel and the restaurant was lonely. Great food and a particularly friendly waiter.
If you are looking for a break from the boring chain hotels and some fab food and service then it’s for you.」
