Hotel was ideal for hospital visit. We stayed in Huddleston suite , it was clean but felt the hotel on a whole could do with a revamp. The breakfast was small and worth the price .

A clean and comfortable room at a good price, with an excellent, powerful shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Unfortunately, the TV had a very limited channel selection, meaning I was left having to watch mainstream media, with BBC News being the only available news channel. The television would benefit from being retuned, as several channels were missing, including GB News. Overall, a pleasant stay offering good value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to ensure that my husband and I had a good stay. I am in a wheelchair so the old building was not ideal for easy navigation, but the staff made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and straightforward as possible.Many thanks.

Parking was easy. The welcome was warm and check-in was easy. The room was very clean with blackout curtains and a huge wet room style shower. Breakfast was great. The staff were excellent.

The rooms smelt weird and the bathroom smelt like urine .My 1st thought was that it needs some maintenance work asap .The cleaning was ok but it didn’t feel fresh more like it’s had to many once overs and now it needs a deep clean .Parking was £10 a night but we paid after getting a place then we went out and couldn’t get one once we were back .Staff were ok but did more chatting in the dining room at breakfast rather than making sure guests were ok.We slept badly because we could hear other guests returning in the early hours .Guests must have been locked out of the room because they were banging heavily on the doors and swearing very loud to wake there partners,friends up to get in the room .this made me and my husband wake up and struggle again ti get back to sleep.

The corridors needed painting and the carpets and bedrooms need modernising but it was a clean hotel with basic amenities. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast was very good with lovely cooked food. Very good value for money

Friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Special thanks to Alison on reception. Lovely breakfast and ideal location for our visit to the neighbouring hospital. Building could do with a bit TLC but didn’t impact upon our stay.
