"The Cincinnatian Hotel is now simply a name attached to what once represented a standard of elegance, hospitality, and excellence in downtown Cincinnati. While the front desk staff I encountered were friendly and professional, the overall experience reflected ownership and management that no longer appear invested in true customer service or the guest experience. The first sign was arriving to find only one overwhelmed registration desk employee and no concierge presence whatsoever in what is supposed to be a historic upscale hotel. My “roommates” during the stay were gnats. I reported the issue and was repeatedly told spray was coming. It never arrived. The condition of the room itself was disappointing. Towels were frayed, worn thin, and shedding lint. The bath products appeared randomly assembled from different brands, giving the impression they had been purchased at a garage sale rather than selected for a quality hospitality experience. There were no bellpersons available, another noticeable absence for a property that markets itself as a luxury historic hotel. Perhaps most disappointing was the lack of follow through. Upon checkout, the young lady at the desk apologized and assured me a manager would contact me regarding the concerns. Days later crickets. Historic charm alone cannot sustain a hotel’s reputation. Service, attention to detail, and accountability matter. Sadly, this stay felt more like a faded memory of what The Cincinnatian once was rather than"

"First of all, if you are staying at a Westin for the brand of “heavenly beds” and a nicer, more elevated hotel, forget it! They haven’t put a dime into this place. Peeling wallpaper, old carpeting & outdated furniture. Service was beyond bad if you can call it service. Nobody was friendly and literally GRUNTED when I said good morning. I could go on and on about what a dump this place is. I will go elsewhere next time. "

"Well, we had to be moved four times to different rooms first time.The room next to us was playing loud music.That was ridiculous.The second room we walked in dirty towels on the floor bed unmade, the third row, we go in everything looked fine.We started unpacking, and I went to the restroom.Just to pee and come out, get our suits on.And i'm like, is that toilet running?And there was water everywhere, all over the floor like just the whole floor is covered in water. The fourth room was ok. I will say you can hear the highway pretty good. I will say the pool was on the cool side dor being heated. I will not be staying there again. The guy at the front desk was super nice and lady bot as friendly"

"The air conditioning was noisy, and the view overlooked a dirty rooftop. The shower was difficult to use because the hot water was scalding while the cold water pressure was very weak. The pillowcases and towels even had holes in them. I stayed here about six years ago, and the property was much better maintained back then."
