"This hotel is adorable and in a great location. But, it continues to exist despite itself. We’ve stayed a few times while going to a U Cincy event, and there’s always some kind of billing or other problem. This time, there was a fire alarm at 3am, and we were all evacuated. The staff was nowhere while we all filed out, and then they couldn’t even direct us to a staircase to get back to our room. They did provide free breakfast vouchers, but we’d already paid for the breakfast vouchers and had to seek a reimbursement through Hotels.com. What a pain! The staff is nice, but usually clueless."

"We booked 2 nights over Memorial Weekend to visit our daughter who attends UC. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was amazing. The big problem was with the parking. They have converted most of the street parking spots to "Pay to Park". I believe the rate was $40 per night. We parked down the block to avoid having to pay. 27 cars were broken into on that block and in their parking lot. Our car was one of them. Valet attendant saw the car full of armed men smashing the car windows, and called the police. This ended up being a very big inconvenience as we were 6 hours from home with a smashed window on a holiday weekend. I know this is not the hotel's fault. The valet attendants were super helpful, providing all of us with garbage bags and plastic for our windows. Bottom line...beautiful hotel, amazing staff, terrible parking situation and I'd say a little shady at night. I don't think we will return to this hotel, unfortunately."

"We stayed at this property with a group of 10 and overall had a great experience. The home had plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, and was very convenient to DT. Not to mention a great kitchen to prepare meals and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to get ready.There were a few minor issues during our stay. The kitchen flooring could use some improvement, the steps leading up to the property felt a bit dicey due to steepness and some details like dead plants in the windows, drawers containing old mail and just minimal wear and tear took away from the overall presentation.Some guests may also be concerned about the surrounding area, but coming from Cincinnati, it did not bother us personally — just something to keep in mind for out of towners.Overall, the property worked very well for our group size, and we would stay here again if we needed a place for a larger group."

"When checking the front desk employee's struggles to find a room for me when I arrived about 430/5pm for my reservation. I was given a room when I quickly went put down my bag, and left for a dinner reservation. When returning I realize the room was not clean. Trash was piled under the sink and smelled like it was left for a while but overall not clean. The employee at night wanted to put up a fight but quickly offered another room which corrected that situation but definitely changed the mood for the evening."
