"Lee Jung-seop Street and Maeil Olle Market are both within walking distance, and the hotel is close to Jeju Olle Trail Route 7. It’s clean, offers excellent value for money, and I’d likely stay here again."
"Lets start with the angry man. The property supposely has 24 hour reception. It does not. We turned up and it appeared to be deserted. We called out and knocked on the door of the big building at the entrance and the place appeared to be deserted. The cage was closed. There was a car in the car park but we did not know were the owner was. Walking around the property we noticed that three rooms has keys hanging in the locks on the door. After using a translating app we figured out which cabin was ours as they had names on them. Suspecting that self check in was required (as it is in many properties), but not communicated we let ourselves in. Shortly after, whilst carrying our luggage from the car were were met by an angry man who accused us of breaking in. Apparently we were supposed to guess which building he was living in (no sign or anyhting) and call on arrival (that was never communicated and we did not have a phone that could make a call). His rage lasted for a good 10 minutes.
Anyway the place was OK but pretty average. It is old and rustic and has harm. It was clean enough. However, compared to the other traditional house we stayed in (Dong Park Saeng E) on Jeju, this one was a distant second. Even overlooking the check in issue, I am not sure we would stay again. "
"It is definitely one of the great resorts in Jeju, especially if you are traveling with kids. They have 6 themed kids' rooms: pirate, hot air balloon, and spaceship. Luckily, we were able to get the pirate room, as my kid wished, with their help. The room condition is nearly brand new, with separate areas for parents and kids, and a spacious patio with waterfalls that made our vacation relaxing. The room service food was great too, though I wish there were more selections and extended availability (it’s only available after 7 pm). The pool is great for kids, with two slides and heated water. During our stay, I was very impressed with a person who worked at the pool desk on 9/9 around 8:30 pm. My daughter fell during the laser show, and she was willing to help, treating my daughter with kindness. She was also very thoughtful, providing a waterproof bandage.
The only downsides of this hotel are that the pool opens at 11:00 am, making it hard to enjoy before checkout, and the limited hours for room service. Overall, it’s a great hotel for fun with kids and family."
