「Room was great. Booking in was awful. All young staff, no management visible. Absolutely awful. Expected a bit of noise from pub. But sounded like being above a club. Drum and base beyond 12 midnight. Tea and coffee minimal. Wouldn’t consider staying again. Cleaner in the morning, absolutely delightful. Best member of staff for sure!」

「We stayed in a room at the rear of the property. It is clean, but very dated bathroom, decor, upholstery and carpet. Really needs a complete renovation. It was a very hot evening and a ceiling fan would be useful because there is not a lot of room in the accommodation for a free standing fan. The sun is on the room all day. Food excellent and staff very courteous.」

「Beautiful old property, well presented. Breakfast fine. Disappointing that no water - either hot or cold - the first evening, due to a leak which couldn’t be fixed. These things happen but an apology/ acknowledgment of inconvenience from staff would have been welcome.」

「Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. 」

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. Would definitely stay again and would definite, recommend, 100%.」

「Over all not bad. Sofa come beds need to be changed, as not comfortable at all. I told them after 1st night but still not better. We were 4 and 3 of us slept in main bed and that why poor rating. So need to check there beds.」
