「If you can afford any other hotel please for the love of god stay there. I would rather stay at the Bates Motel instead of this tish hole. After a long hard day working at Harewood House food festival we arrived to check in at 8pm to be told we had to pay to park in the hotel car park (like they didn’t charge enough for the crap room to cover the cost of this and they certainly don’t put that money to the upkeep of the hotel) We have stayed in many hotels but this by far is the worst. 「Friendly and easy accommodating staff. The hotel itself was a bit old (a part of history I guess) and some switches on the wall weren’t working properly. We visited in the end of Feb but the room was cosy and warm. 」

Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. 「We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side.
