We had completely opposite experiences in terms of comfort and quality, and should either of us go to Halifax again, the wool merchant hotel is on top of the list of places to stay.」

「I love stopping here. Its less than a 2 minute from the train station and the Peice Hall, and a 3 minute walk to the shops and bus station. The staff are lovely.. The rooms are comfortable. Nothing flashy as reflected in the orices 」

「Stayed for a long weekend. Difficult to find initially but once there it was accessible, free parking and great for getting out of the town quickly. Nice place. The only downside was that there wasn't a dishwasher but this is advertised as having a dishwasher on hotels.com」
