"We had a great stay at Half Moon Bay Lodge. The room was large and clean, and the beds were comfortable. A great asset was the heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast was average but coffee was available at the dining area throughout the day. There was a number of small problems: there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, and there are no bell boys to help with the luggage, if one stays on the 2nd floor. Some of the furniture did not work very well, the dresser's drawers kept sliding out!! Also, one needs to arrange with the front desk the room's housekeeping. But, the price is right!!"

"Better than most 5 star hotel suites at a fraction of the cost. In a nice neighborhood, 2 blocks from the beach and close to downtown, it was quiet, clean, had modern appliances, and a very nice shower for 2 (no tub). Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely breakfast and bed near the Main Street, restaurants and shops. I didn’t really interact with staff in-person so I did miss the face to face human connection. I love the Inn and thought and the Victorian style. I recommend it. "

"This property was so nice an well appointed. It felt like coming home. The Host had stocked all kinds of treats and supplies, and left a thoughtful note and gift which we received upon our arrival. The place was extremely clean, centrally located to restaurants, chops, venues, and the beach. It was a wonderful place to stay, which I highly recommend. "

"We had a great time in Half Moon Bay. We were disappointed that the house was not cleaner. The backyard was not as nice as we has expected. A couple light bulbs were burned out, one of the bedroom TVs did not work, dining room chairs were ripped."

"This is our fifth Half Moon Bay area rental home and hands down our favorite. Close walk to Poplar Beach, gorgeous yard/lot with plenty of space inside and out. Meticulously clean and well stocked. Relaxed vibe for decor, comfortable furniture and warm lighting. Owners are friendly and quick to communicate and touch base. Will be our go-to rental for our bi-annual trip to HMB, it's a splurge for our budget, but worth it. "
