「Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was nice if a little compact. Very clean. We had room 203 which was a dormer room so sloping ceilings. Not so good if your tall, particularly in the shower. Cant speak fo the other rooms though. Plenty of parking when we were there.」

「A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again

「This property is unique, it is a very old property with all mod cons and some contemporary styling. Loved the facilities and I am a lover of lots of milk in my strong tea, I always have to ask for extra milk … not here, extras for all your tea and coffee making was on the landing.
The room itself and the beds were comfortable, we travelled as a family of three with me and my husband in a double and our little one on a put me up. We had a tv and lots of storage space for clothes etc.

「We stayed in three. The room was big, but it was including waste space where no one stays there. If sofa bed was opened, no space to walk or open your luggage.
The room was not in basement, but ground floor rooms have less top window which you feel as it is in basement. I would feel horrible if the days were really hot. No air conditioners.
