(allegedly shot in the eye with an arrow) This led to the beginning of the Norman conquest of England and its history. Under the remains of the church are the amazing vaunted rooms of the dormitory in the east wing.

「This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area」

「The hotel is in a great location in Hastings Old Town close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, v. comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, including Porters next door (good wine bar/restaurant associated with the hotel). It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived.
