"We loved our short stay here. They have a wake up call option to see the northern lights which we did on our last night. That alone is reason enough to stay here, but there are many other reasons too! The attached restaurant is delicious. The vaulted ceilings in the guest rooms are a really nice feature. They have an honor system bar with beverages and snacks. They are minutes from the Blue Lagoon. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds are comfy and the windows open wide for fresh air."

Konvin Hotel by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

Konvin Hotel by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

8/10 Good
"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. No fridge in the room and it was very, very dark, more lighting is definitely needed. I live in constant hope that one day the CEO's of hotel chains will realize that a double room booked for two people, means 2 SUITCASES, at the very least. I am reaching the age when kneeling down to access my belongings from the floor is becoming problematic. Is there a world wide epidemic of guests stealing luggage racks, that I am unaware of? Is this the reason that only one suitcase stand is provided? There was adequate space in the room, it could have accommodated a second Queen size bed. easily."

"This is the stay of a lifetime (especially since it is connected to the neighboring Blue Lagoon)—and it reflects a corresponding price tag. Sticker shock aside, they have thought of every manner to pamper guests and make them feel at home (and willing to part with more cash in purchasing their various products). The staff are very well trained in the art of hospitality and will go out of their way to be of assistance. This may not be an every few year stay but it is certainly is worth a checking of the box on one’s list to be done before one dies."
