The location is hard to beat—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance to major sights, great restaurants, bars, and shopping. It made exploring Reykjavik incredibly convenient, whether we were heading out for a quick coffee or a full day of sightseeing. Our room was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything felt well-maintained and true to what we expected when booking, which is always appreciated. The staff really stood out. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and quick to help with anything we needed. Whether it was answering questions, offering recommendations, or assisting with small requests, they were consistently prompt and professional. One thing to note is parking. Since the hotel is located in a very popular and central district, finding a nearby spot can sometimes be a bit challenging. Be prepared for a short walk, especially if you have luggage. That said, it’s a small trade-off for being in such a prime location. Overall, Alda Hotel delivered a fantastic experience—great location, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Reykjavik"

"It exceeded our expectations and was a home away from home. The efficiency kitchen was equipped with a 2 burner hob, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, kettle and much more. "Loved our stay here! The breakfast was amazing!!! And the location couldn't better!! The room was spacious and had more space than we needed. It was so nice to have a couch to relax in after walking the sitting. Parking is limited, so if you'd like to reserve a spot, reach out ahead of your stay to ensure you have one if you have a car. I loved not having to worry about finding a spot on the street. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and the room was very quiet and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!!!"
