Hotel Vogar works for us!

Comfortable older hotel, with outside entrances to most rooms. Blackout curtains for summer nights, great Scandinavian style smorgasbord breakfast 7:30-9 am. Internet works great. 10 miles from Blue Lagoon, also close to Keflavik Airport Good value!

Hotel Vogar stay

The rooms were very nice and clean. There was no food available close or in motel but available with a drive. I would recommend this for a relaxing night or short stay. This was the only rooms that had TV.

Staff were really sweet and very helpful. Nice breakfast. Not sure what I would have done for lunch or dinner, but I was only there overnight, so it was fine. Room is comfortable. Decor is dated. Amazingly, the bus comes across the street from this hotel. The hotel is not near anything. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was $71.
