"Arrived late for check in. Informed the room I reserved 6 months prior was not available. Nothing done to rectify the situation that night. Have away all the 2 queen rooms that day before we arrived even though that is what I reserved). No bottled in room (Hilton honors member). No dry/clean towels at pool. "

"The ideal multi-generational escape. We traveled with 2 adult children, enjoyed the beach and the adult pool. The tiki bar/poolside dining is excellent. The diner/ice cream bar has affordable breakfast and lite meals. This is relaxed luxury. Large than typical rooms, balconies make for a great place for coffee or if you need to do some remote work. Well cared for, pleasant professional staff throughout. Ideal place for young families with all kinds of games, courts, play set, bball court. Keep every age happy all day long. "

"I had called the previous day to ask a question and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and called again and was able to get my questions answered. Upon check in staff were not super friendly or helpful. One woman was actually rude. Room was clean, but could use some “freshening up” (paint touch up, carpets cleaned, etc)."

"When we arrived at the airport, we called for the shuttle and were told it would come in 30mins, max 40 mins. After an hour, we called again, and were told they would message the driver again. It never came. We ended up getting an uber to the hotel after waiting an hour and a half (that cost us $30 for a 5 min ride). Upon arriving at the hotel and telling the front staff the shuttle never came, their response was “okay…”. No apology, no explanation. It seemed like this happened a lot. Then when we got to our room, there was no hand soap. We asked for some soap and were told they had run out… so they gave us a bottle of shampoo to use as hand soap. (What hotel runs out of soap??!). There was also no tissues in the tissue box. My sister’s room was just as bad… maybe worse… they didn’t have body wash in the shower either…. And there was pee in the toilet (was the room cleaned??!!). I would not stay here again. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is its location to the cruise terminal. But the Crown Plaza is literally next door…. Stay there instead!! We saw about 5 or 6 Crown Plaza shuttles come by in the time we were waiting for the Aloft shuttle. If we had known the Crown Plaza was next door, we would have hopped on their shuttle. WOULD NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN. This is not the quality level you expect from a Marriott hotel "
