"We have just returned from 1 night stay at Royal station hotel ,. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. On arrival we were checked in smoothly although our room was not ready the girl at reception was very helpful stating we could leave luggage . We were given an upgraded room which was beautiful. "Nice hotel, a little tired in places but well appointed, great location and lovely building. Arrived to be told the car park was full which wasn’t terribly convenient as had to use the larger public car park which you can drive into right by the hotel car park but the pedestrian exit is 2 streets down so it’s a long walk with your luggage. Reception was great and very helpful and room was good size and well equipped, if perhaps a little tired in decor and would benefit from a quick light touch...
