「The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap.
The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. 」

The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area.
The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even...

Reception were a bit regimented with check in and checkout times ...which is what youd expect from a travelodge ..this was disappointing. You can pay to check in early ...but i just want my room.if its ready ..not to be just sat waiting til 3pm... If its not ready until 3pm fine but if it was ready at 12?? Why make people...
「The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal here which was excellent , menu above average pub menu. The bed was really comfortable , the bedding smelt so fresh. The shower was powerful and hot. Enjoyed an ample breakfast with menu choice for the smaller appetite. Taxi to Haworth only cost £7.00」
