「Room was lovely dog friendly too」

「The property did not fully match the listing, one of the bedrooms shown in the photos does not appear to exist, and the room our children were going to stay in had visible mould on the walls. While the property had been cleaned well, this is clearly a maintenance issue rather than a cleaning one. The hot tub, which was a key reason for booking, was not available on our first night. 「I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. 「Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.」
