Grandfather Vista is a 3-bedroom true log cabin in Banner Elk with Heat and AC
Host was very accommodating and had excellent communication. Location was perfect- close to App State and all the hiking trails! Great overall stay!

The hotel was very nicely maintained, and staff were most pleasant and helpful. The room was clean; the mattress was firm and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch. If I were to go to Boone North Carolina again, I would definitely return to this hotel.

This was a really good option for a stay in Blowing Rock. My family of 5 had a comfortable stay and the price was very affordable. I would not recommend staying in the summer as there isn't central AC, only a window unit, so it will be uncomfortable for those who are heat intolerant, but for winter ...
