「What a perfectly quaint and serene B&B. Jean and Dave have truly created a masterpiece to clear the mind and enjoy a special getaway with your significant other. The grounds were a gardener’s paradise and our room was so cozy we felt like it was home. It was triangulated between Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne City - perfect location. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!」

「Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. 「i didn't like anything. The room was old moldy and gross with ants running freely in the bathroom. The shower door was missing hardware and was not replaced so there were holes. The sink had cracks in it. The staff during breakfast was rude and no accommodating. The cookies were good and having bottled water on hand was nice. We left early because of the dusty, moldy smell in the room; very unpleasant and unhealthy. We lost a lot of money but i just could not stay and torture myself」

「Great place to stay!! We needed a room for one night before heading over to Beaver Island and Adoba saved the day. Brand new renovation and great housekeeping staff was so appreciated, all at a super reasonable price during peak season in one of Michigan's priciest resort towns. THANK YOU- we'll be back.
