The local area was great, the Blue Eagle Bar was Awesome as well as Y Knot, a small Pizza and market, the people were very nice and the food was Great, would definitely recommend the house and those places to dine. 」

「Lovely and clean cottage in a rural farm neighbourhood. Very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable for a couple to stay here. Great location within finger lakes region of New York State for wine and cider tastings and visits to state parks. Central to Ithaca and Watkins Glen, and reasonably close to Corning to see the glass museum, which is a must for everyone. Cottage is lovely and clean with modern appliances, bathroom, and kitchen, but at the same time has a rustic feel. Thank You Liza!」

「The cottage was exactly as listed. The sunset from the deck was very pretty. The fenced in yard was an added bonus for the dogs to play after a long car ride. Wish we had more time to enjoy the lake front. There is so much to do in the area. 」

「The place was very nice! Many nice touches and we didn’t need anything. Just a heads up that the space at the lake is down over a steep hill, so be prepared to drive down if taking many things to enjoy around the fire pit. Front porch was a great place to sit in the mornings and the neighborhood was clean and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and loved the decorative touches 」

「This quaint and very comfortable Lakeside House is a fabulous retreat! The house is clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. 「Although the host was right next door we did feel we had our privacy. The cabin had many personal family photos which made us feel a little like we were invading their space. So as constructive criticism perhaps a little less personal items would make future renters feel more at home. All in all the hiking was fun and the property provided a restful and relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.」

「It was a quaint experience staying in this small, yet comfortable cottage house. The house is well kept and the furnishings, including the beds, are very relaxing for a good nights rest. It also has a beautiful view of Silver Lake from the living room, which is wonderful to wake up to in the morning. 「We enjoyed our stay. The host was awesome and even called to see if we had any questions before our stay. The only thing that caught us off guard was there is not central AC, it was two window units. Just something to know incase you are like us and like a cool/cold house. Other than that everything was awesome! Beautiful property to enjoy time on the lake! 」
