「This Motel has a retro feel of the early 60's. it is clean, safe and comfortable. The pool area is the best we have encountered. We loved the big trees and the lovely lawn. I will definetely be back!」

「Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so...

「This is my favorite place to stay on North Shore. The private beach is perfect and enough of anything you need nearby. 」

「This is a no frills motel/Inn. I have gone twice now and they do not have a daily maid service, the pool is full of dirt with no intention of emptying or using as a pool which is OK. This being said the Monday night to Thursday night rate is fair but, for a weekend stay it is outrages for what you receive- even for a no frills Motel/Inn. Again this is a Motel/Inn not a Hotel as advertised.」

「Please be honest with yourself it’s a Motel Six. If you don’t go into it thinking they are going to have the same amenities as Four Seasons, you will pleased. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the people whom clean the rooms are very polite and honest… I’ve never had anything messed with and I’ve spent many nights there. If you are lucky enough to stay there on a week day you will get to meet Robin.. and she is wonderful! Plus they are pet friendly!」

「Love the vibe and the details in the room」

「It’s great when you can support an independent motel instead of the big chains. We enjoyed a clean comfortable shower and sleep in a comfortable very well kept little motel. The a/c was wonderful, cool, with a steady sound that never awakened me the way the ones at too many other hotels have on our cross country trip. 」

「The owner was very attentive」

「This is a great deal. If you need a clean place to stay the night in a safe area this is your choice. Very simple design with upgraded interior and has fridge and microwave. Basically two bedrooms to sleep in and bathroom /shower but perfect for what we needed coming in late. 」

"We didn't know about their fee schedule that charged substantial parking and resort fee outside the original price. We later found that casino hotels does it commonly. We should have stayed at a hotel or motel on the California side, just a few hundred meters away."
