"We stayed there for our 49th wedding anniversary. Usually a hotel will send a bottle to your room; not this hotel. The people who work at this hotel are not happy and it shows in their attitude with the customers. In my opinion, there needs to be a management change at the top to produce a happier atmosphere and employees who are more customer oriented. "

"Planned a last minute beach getaway and found this hotel only 30 minutes away from the airport. We arrived at 11 am and were still able to check in to our 4 hours early thanks to the amazing receptionist. Room was clean and the beach was very accessible. The hotel also has a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and jet ski rental. My one small complaint is the small restaurant that is located inside the hotel. Food is a bit overpriced for what you get. And when we asked the staff for plastic utensils or condiments they told us to go ask house keeping. This does NOT takeaway from the rest of the hotel. We definitely recommend going here and will be back in the future."

"Really enjoyable stay at Lago Mar. Very reasonable prices, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Resort is clean, large with lots of complimentary activities, pickle ball, table tennis, mini golf and is right on the beach which is beautiful. Breakfast is $21 each adult and $9(i think) per child and is a buffet style and lovely. As per other reviews, rooms could do with being updated but they are clean and comfy. Highly recommend. "
