「It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. 「Room was lovely , spacious and airy , we had room 58 , 1 double balcony window and a large double window which overlooked a country path .
Staff were great ,willing and helpful , Even charged my phone overnight because i forgot charger , only downside was pillows were too hard for my liking and threw them on the floor but alround thumbs up」

Only criticism would be the info on the website is wrong as said we had till 11pm to check in but we were out and they rang and said they actually close at 10 so we had to rush to get there 」

access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptable」
