ヘンリー8世の泊まった部屋もあり、歴史を感じられます。階段しかないので、重いとスーツケースをあげるのに苦労しますが、風呂のお湯も水量も問題なく、快適に過ごせました。

The staff were very helpful and clearly took pride in their work. Clean, comfortable bed and a nice It’s clearly an old pub and the room also had a lot of character which was a refreshing change from the tendency nowadays to make everything the same. Very nice breakfast with very friendly staff.

It was great to stay in a place that felt trapped in the past. Even with the building being hundreds years old, the room was really clean and I was impressed with the standard. The room was very spacious and comfortable to stay in. Breakfast options were good and freshly made to order.

History... Amazing past to have experienced. Location and parking easy. Staff were extremely helpful whether it was directions, or even helping with heavy luggage up/ down the spiral staircase. Very happy we started our English countryside vacation here. It just set the flow for everything to follow.

Staying at this property is all about wanting a unique and historical experience. The café was very pleasurable in the evening and we both enjoyed a meal. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable even though I had my doubts the bed was going to be comfortable, had a wonderful night sleep. The shower was to die for and the hairdryer made us both laugh. Parking is at the rear of the hotel and there is an easy entrance right off the parking lot. Our room was number 15 and we did not see any ghost.

A wonderful hotel with a rich historical background. I was delighted to be welcomed by such friendly staff. I was also pleased to find slippers provided. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the UK, but this was the first time I’d been offered this service.

What a gem of a hotel with plenty of character. This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! Glastonbury is a wonderful spiritual place with a great vibe. Pubs close early evening for food orders but we visited an amazing Indian restaurant a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Lovely room and clean, but windows are old sash windows and we felt uneasy opening them in the hot weather. The room had fans provided. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to help, especially leon the dep manager. The bar was nice and plenty of places to sit. The evening meal was really nice slso. Very enjoyable stay, snd would stay again.

The bath/shower in our room was good but getting into it with my dodgy knees was difficult. a grab handle on the wall would help. Menu for evening meal was limited (changing your menu choices so many things no longer available) . Pie was excellent but veg poor, carrots were rock hard. Staff friendly and helpful.
