"From the moment we arrived, the service at the Shangri-La Hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The team could not have done more for us if they tried. We never once had to open a door or press an elevator button ourselves — every detail of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of. They kindly froze ice packs for my medication, which was greatly appreciated, and when they learned it was my birthday, they surprised us with an upgraded room. To make the day even more special, they sent a beautiful gluten-free birthday cake and balloons to our room — such a thoughtful and personal touch. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, and the location is simply fabulous. We cannot recommend the Shangri-La Hotel highly enough and will definitely stay again."

There were plenty of excellent restaurant options on-site, offering variety and convenience without ever having to leave the property. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. It really felt like a luxury experience from start to finish. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. One front desk team member stood out—he greeted us with a warm smile, checked us in efficiently, and handled a room delay with genuine courtesy. He offered great advice on visiting the Burj Khalifa while we waited and later gave helpful restaurant recommendations. His kindness and hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. We highly recommend Palace Downtown and would gladly return. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, service, and style in the heart of Dubai. "

"Good apartment that felt like more of a B&B than a hotel, there are things that you need to do such as emptying the trash and no housekeeping included. You can request items through the app which is very handy, and fast communication. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are well stocked but the shower needs to be improved, takes a while for hot water. Located 20 mins walk from Dubai Mall but tends to be quite humid in the evenings. Few supermarkets nearby but traffic will get busy in the evenings as it is located in Business Bay. You can use food order apps delivered direct to your apartment."
