「Met by really welcoming reception staff. Our room was ready early which was a real bonus. Stayed in one of the signature suites which was lovely. Great balcony and view of the marina. Outside furniture covers could do with renewing and bathroom wasn’t very private in terms of the door left a large gap between the ceiling. Breakfast was well worth it and great choice. Overall had a thoroughly lovely time and would recommend. 」
「My roommates were too quiet and I tried not to make a sound. I was so embarrassed that I had to go to the bathroom on the basement floor because the sound of defecation echoed in the room.( ^ω^ )」
「This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.」
「The staffs are all excelent, warm and supportive. The family room we booked was clean enough and with nice furnitures but had no window. But still ok.
The hotel is old style so there was no lift which was quite difficult for tourists like us carrying a large suitcases, but the staff had kindly supported us. No air conditioner in the room」
「It is next to a busy road but I didn’t hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience.」
