「The ground of the property looks well kept however, the inside looks dark with unpleasant odor. When I rang the door bell the hosts opened the door and I didn't feel welcome. She didn't introduce herself, after a while having conversation with her I had to asked for her name. She didn't tell me where to park but she told me not to park in her parking. I left the property and didn't stay there. I went and find another bed and breakfast that I felt welcome and safe.」

「Basically was very clean the kitchen had coffee I had to bring my own milk, which is normal. The only problem I had was the bathroom was very tiny and very cramped. I had a broken wrist and it was difficult to do things in such a cramped area. The stairs were difficult to navigate and very steep again with the broken wrist. It was a little hard and the loft upstairs I could not sleep in because there was no railing to hold onto going up and down the steps. If I had not had a cast on, it would’ve...

The area is pretty deserted at this time of year; at all meals we ate out we were the only ones in the restaurants and we barely saw anyone else hiking or fishing but for a quiet getaway it was perfect. 」

「The host Sue was great ! She was available right away when I needed her with checking in. We stayed for July 4th weekend and the price was very reasonable for the weekend. The location was perfect. Local restaurants and grocery store all walking distance. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures! I would definitely stay here again !」

「This place was AMAZING!!! The house was warm and so secluded!! Just what I wanted. The river was spectacular. We couldn’t do a bonfire because of the dryness and risk of forest fire so we had a campfire cooking down by the river with coals, no flame. Omg!! I felt like I was in a movie. A bald eagle flew overhead. We also had a wonderful warm fire inside. I can’t recommend this cabin enough. I can’t wait to bring the kids back. 」

「Great cabin for a ski basecamp. Wood stove and sauna kept us nice and warm. It's on a beautiful secluded forest road, but the road was plowed fairly regularly (it was dumping snow while we were there). The only thing I would suggest is that a bunk bed in the small bedroom would have been a huge improvement... we came with two kids and one had to sleep on the fold out futon, so we couldn't use the kitchen or living room after bedtime. We're definitely going to be back next time we ski Belleayre!」

「We were thrilled with our stay at Rainbow Hill Road. We came to the Catskills to visit our son who lives 10 miles away. The cabin was just perfect for us, our daughter, and our dog. It was the perfect amount of space to have our son and girlfriend join us for dinner or breakfast. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked a lot! 「Very nice insides. Issues are: 1) arrive and see deck with yellow Caution tape across stairs on one side. 2) One of the website pictures is labeled Property Grounds. If that is actually on the property it doesn't indicate that the water access shown is across a two-lane road with guardrails on both sides in different places. 3) Most important is the bathroom plumbing. On arrival wife tried to take a bath; water was dark gray/black in the tub. Nothing in welcome book about this being possible if...
